Crisis Stabilization Unit
A safe and healing place for adults experiencing a mental health crisis
The Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU), at Productive Alternatives, allows us to create a support team around a person going through a crisis and help them get back on their feet. A crisis is defined as how the individual wants to define it. We are here to help anyone going through anything. Every situation is different and that is why we approach each situation with a personalized approach.
The Crisis Stabilization Unit is a 24/7 program with a residential facility and focused on mental health specifically. Our facility offers short term stays (10 days or less) but we can extend as needed.
We work with the individual to build coping skills and other skills that work for them when trying to meet their goals. We are here to help people heal and grow.
CSU is free of charge through insurance billings and grant funding.
Our goals are to create:
A stabilization treatment plan with client goals
A crisis prevention plan with crisis skills strategies
A discharge plan with resources
